    2-year workmanship warranty

Our 2-Year Painting Warranty, In Plain English

Every repaint we do carries a 2-year workmanship warranty at no extra cost. Here's exactly what that covers, what it doesn't, and what happens when you call us about it.

    • Licensed Arizona Contractor
    • Fully Insured
    • 2-Year Workmanship Warranty
    • 10+ Years Combined Experience

    What's covered

The warranty covers our workmanship: how we prepped the surface and how we applied the coating.

    • PeelingPaint lifting away from a surface we prepped and coated, where the cause is how the coating was applied rather than damage to the building.
    • BlisteringBubbles forming under the finish from trapped moisture or a bond failure on a surface we prepared.
    • Chipping and flakingFinish breaking away from a properly prepped surface before it reasonably should, pointing back to prep or application.
    • Coating failure from defective applicationAnything that traces back to our workmanship: missed primer, wrong product for the surface, insufficient film thickness, or coating applied in conditions it shouldn't have been.
    • Whole-surface correction, not a dabWhen we correct covered workmanship, we repaint to a natural break line so the repair doesn't read as a patch.

    What's honestly not covered

We'd rather you read this now than find out in year three. No workmanship warranty in Arizona covers these, ours included.

    • Fading and color change from sun exposureArizona UV changes every color over time. That's the climate, not the application, and no painter can honestly warranty against it.
    • Damage from other causesImpact, hail, storm debris, roof or plumbing leaks, sprinkler overspray, settling and structural movement, pressure washing, and anything caused by another trade working on the property.
    • Normal wearScuffs, marks, and nail holes from everyday living, and the gradual dulling of sheen on high-traffic surfaces.
    • Surfaces you asked us not to prepIf you decline recommended prep or a recommended primer to reduce cost, we note it on the estimate and that surface sits outside the warranty.
    • Work done by someone elseAreas painted, patched, or altered by another contractor or by the homeowner after we finish.
    • Materials defectsA bad batch of product is covered by the manufacturer, not by us. We register product warranties and hand you the paperwork so you can claim it.

How a claim works, step by step

No claim form to hunt down, no fee, and no argument about whether you're allowed to call.

    1. 11. Call or email usTell us what you're seeing and where. Photos help but aren't required. There's no claim form to chase down and no fee to open a claim.
    2. 22. We acknowledge your claimWe confirm we received it and tell you what happens next within one business day.
    3. 33. We come look at itWe inspect in person within three business days of acknowledging your claim. Photos alone can't tell us whether a blister is trapped moisture from a leak or a bond failure from our prep.
    4. 44. We tell you straight what caused itIf it's our workmanship, we say so. If it's a roof leak, sprinkler overspray, or sun fade, we say that too, and we'll tell you what actually fixes it even when that's not us.
    5. 55. We schedule the repairCovered work is scheduled within seven days of the inspection and corrected at no cost to you: no labor charge, no material charge, no trip fee. We work around your availability.
    6. 66. You sign offSame as the original job. The repair isn't done until you've walked it and you're satisfied.

    Honored claims

Any painter can print a warranty. This is where we show the ones we've actually honored.

Questions to ask any painter about their warranty

Ask us these. Ask everyone else you're considering the same five. The answers tell you more than the price does.

Is the warranty free, or is it an upsell?

Ours is included on every repaint at no extra cost. If a warranty only appears once you add a premium package, it isn't a warranty, it's a product.

Do you repair the whole wall or just spot-touch it?

A dab of paint over a peeled patch will show, every time. Ask whether corrections are carried to a natural break line. Ours are.

    Is fading excluded?

It should be, and any painter who says otherwise in Arizona is either misinformed or telling you what you want to hear. What matters is that the exclusion is written down, not discovered later.

Is it in writing, and is it transferable?

Get the terms on the estimate or the contract, not in conversation. Ask what happens if you sell the house, and get that answer in writing too. Ours transfers once to a new owner inside the original 2-year term.

What's the claim process and who answers the phone?

Ask who you call, how fast someone responds, and whether they'll come look at it in person. A warranty is only worth the response behind it.

    Warranty FAQs

What exactly does the 2-year workmanship warranty cover?

Failures caused by how we prepped and applied the coating: peeling, blistering, and chipping that trace back to our work. If our workmanship caused it, we come back and fix it at no cost to you.

Does the warranty cover paint fading in the Arizona sun?

No, and we'd rather tell you that up front than in year three. UV fade is a property of the climate and the pigment, not the application. We spec desert-rated products to slow it down, but no honest painter warranties against it.

    Does the warranty cost extra?

No. The 2-year workmanship warranty is included on every repaint we do. There's no premium tier you have to buy to get it.

How do I file a warranty claim?

Call or email us and describe what you're seeing. We acknowledge the claim, come inspect it in person, tell you honestly what caused it, and schedule the correction if it's covered.

What if the damage turns out not to be our fault?

We'll tell you what actually caused it, whether that's a roof leak, sprinkler overspray, or impact damage, and what it would take to fix it. You're not charged for the inspection either way.

Is the coating itself covered too?

The product carries the manufacturer's own warranty, which is separate from ours. We register it for you and leave the paperwork behind so you can make a claim directly if a batch ever fails.

Does the warranty transfer if I sell the house?

Yes. It transfers once to a new owner for whatever time is left in the original 2-year term. Pass along your estimate and the warranty paperwork at closing and the new owner can call us directly.

How fast do you respond to a claim?

We acknowledge your claim within one business day, inspect in person within three business days, and schedule any covered correction within seven days of that inspection.

Are you licensed and insured behind the warranty?

Yes. We're a licensed Arizona contractor, ROC #360855, bonded and insured, and certificates of insurance are available on request before work starts.
